Anti-Corruption Committee

Co-Chairs: Bruce Berlin bruce.nmmop@gmail.com and John House jhouse@nmmop.org

The Anti-Corruption Committee is dedicated to bringing about  a variety of democracy reforms and improvements that may be achieved through legislation. These include reforms relating to gerrymandering, lobbying,  disclosure and transparency, ethics and accountability in government.  The committee is also focused upon protecting voters’ rights, making the voting process easier for voters to vote and creating more options in the voting process through measures like  open primaries and ranked choice voting, and implementing successful public financing regimes.  It will be working towards the passage of the American Anti-Corruption Act sponsored by the national organization RepresentUs, with which NMMOP is forming a special, cooperative relationship.
